Description

Automatic and manual focus in a single system

DJI Focus Pro Combo All-In-One is DJI's first standalone AMF lens control system: it integrates with the DJI PRO ecosystem and can also be used with equipment from other brands. The combo includes LiDAR, Handgrip, Motor, Hand Unit and carrying case, everything you need to manage focus on your own or as part of a team.

Upgraded LiDAR, subjects in focus up to 20 meters

The LiDAR for DJI Focus Pro reaches a focusing distance on human subjects of up to 20 meters, three times that of the previous generation, and features 76,800 ranging points (+77% compared with the LiDAR Range Finder for RS) for more precise detection of subject edges. The built-in camera, with improved AI recognition algorithms, identifies people and vehicles more reliably: even if the subject is momentarily obscured, the LiDAR quickly recovers focus.

AMF mode: human and machine together

In AMF mode the operator monitors focus status directly on the monitor and feels the autofocus logic through tactile feedback on the focus ring. The result is collaborative control, where automation supports the creative choice without taking it out of your hands.

FIZ control with the Hand Unit

  • Hand Unit for Focus Pro: continuous, real-time damping adjustment, tactile feedback with magnetic damper and one-button connection to the motor.
  • Handgrip for Focus Pro: power system with about 2.5 hours of runtime, automatic calibration, data storage for 15 lenses, record start/stop via Bluetooth and handheld configuration use.
  • Motor for Focus Pro: compatible with universal 15 mm rods, can also be powered by third-party batteries in the 2S-4S range (7.4-14.4 V).

Focus assist and compatibility

Through the High-Bright Remote Monitor you can access the LiDAR waveform and the top-down focus assist view, with additional useful information on set. Focus Pro works with Ronin gimbals, DJI Transmission, Ronin 4D and Inspire 3, offering an AMF solution for very different shooting scenarios.

Compared with the Creator Combo, the All-In-One version adds the Hand Unit: the right choice when there is a dedicated focus puller on set who needs to control focus, zoom and aperture remotely.

What is the difference between the Creator Combo and the All-In-One Combo?

The Creator Combo includes the LiDAR, Handgrip and Motor for DJI Focus Pro. The All-In-One adds the Manual Unit, which lets a focus puller control focus, zoom and lens aperture, making teamwork more efficient.

Which devices is DJI Focus Pro compatible with?

It integrates with the DJI PRO ecosystem: Ronin gimbals, DJI Transmission, Ronin 4D and Inspire 3. It can also be used independently with equipment from other brands. How does the LiDAR for Focus Pro differ from the LiDAR Range Finder (RS)?

The LiDAR for DJI Focus Pro offers a longer detection range, more distance points (76,800) and smarter subject recognition, for a better focusing experience.

Can the Handgrip be powered by other batteries?

No: the Handgrip only supports power from the BG21 Battery Grip, which is interchangeable with that of DJI RS 3 and DJI RS 4.

Can the Motor be powered by third-party batteries?

Yes, the motor is compatible with third-party batteries in the 2S-4S voltage range (7.4-14.4 V). DJI recommends using the official D-TAP to USB-C power cable.
