Use of collected personal data

Comments

When you wish to leave a comment on our website, the data collected through the comment form, as well as your browser's user agent, are collected to help us detect unwanted comments. Once your comment has been approved, the name you entered will be publicly visible on the portal.

Media

If you are a registered user and upload images to the website, we recommend that you avoid uploading images containing EXIF GPS coordinate data. Visitors to your website can download and extract location data from these images.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you consent to the recording of your name, email address, and the cookies present on the website. This is only for your convenience so that you do not have to re-enter this information if you post another comment later. These cookies remain stored.
If you are directed to one of our landing pages, a temporary cookie will be created. The file does not contain personal data.
When you log in, we will set a number of cookies to save your login information and page preferences. The lifespan of a screen options cookie is one year.

Content embedded from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles…). Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users who register on our website (if they wish to), we also store the personal information they provide in their profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

The rights you have over your data

If you have an account, have made a purchase, or have left comments on the site, you can request to receive a file containing all the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you.
This does not include data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Transmission of personal data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Cart reminders and exclusive offers

At checkout you can, if you wish, tick the box "Notify me if I leave products in my cart and send me news and exclusive offers". Only in that case, if you leave your cart without completing the order, we will write to you with at most three emails (after about 1 hour, 24 hours and 72 hours; the last one may contain a personal discount code) and, for 30 days, a notice if the price of a product in your cart drops or if it becomes available again. Reminders stop as soon as you purchase, and there is at most one series every 30 days.

  • Data: email, name and phone number if you provided them, cart contents.
  • Legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR and art. 130 of the Italian Privacy Code), which you can withdraw at any time via the link at the bottom of every email or by writing to us. Without consent your cart remains saved but we will not write to you.
  • Retention: the email and consent associated with the cart are deleted after 90 days.

For high-value carts our staff may contact you, again only if you have given your consent.

Customer contact management

To follow up customers and enquiries we use our own sales management software hosted on servers in the European Union. We record in it only: those who complete a purchase (order data), those who have given us consent to commercial communications and those who leave a high-value cart having given consent to reminders. Anonymous visitors and carts without consent are not entered.

Consent log and retention periods

We keep proof of the consents you give us (what you accepted, when and from which form), as required by art. 7 GDPR. Requests sent through the contact form are deleted after 24 months; cookie choices after 12 months; order data is kept for 10 years due to tax obligations (art. 2220 of the Italian Civil Code). You can request at any time a copy of your data or its deletion by writing to info@aerialclick.com.

AerialClick Club (customer area and exclusive offers)

If you join the Club with your name and email, after confirming via email you will occasionally receive offers reserved for members and can access your personal area with your orders. You sign in with a link sent by email, without a password; the technical cookie ac_cliente keeps you signed in for 90 days.

  • Legal basis: your consent to promotional communications, given by confirming your registration (art. 6.1.a GDPR, art. 130 of the Italian Privacy Code); you can withdraw it from your personal area or from the link at the bottom of every email while remaining a member.
  • Retention: for as long as you remain registered; you can delete your account at any time from your personal area.
