Description
A drone designed for surveying and inspection
The DJI Matrice 4E is the model in the Matrice 4 series dedicated to photogrammetry and geospatial mapping. It features a 4/3" CMOS wide-angle camera with 20 effective MP (24 mm equivalent, f/2.8-f/11, mechanical shutter), a 1/1.3" 48 MP CMOS medium telephoto camera (70 mm equivalent) and a 1/1.5" 48 MP CMOS telephoto camera (168 mm equivalent), supported by a laser rangefinder. This setup lets you cover large areas while also going into fine detail: the medium telephoto can identify screws at 10 metres and read the instruments in substations, while the telephoto captures sign details up to 250 metres away.
Efficient mapping
The Matrice 4E supports 5-direction oblique and 3-direction orthogonal capture, Smart 3D mode and 0.5-second interval shooting. Combined with DJI Pilot 2, it can automatically generate mapping reports. With the RTK module, the stated positioning accuracy is 1 cm + 1 ppm horizontally and 1.5 cm + 1 ppm vertically.

The 99.5 Wh (6741 mAh) 4S Li-ion battery delivers a maximum flight time of 49 minutes with standard propellers and 46 minutes with low-noise propellers, in no-wind conditions and without payload. Takeoff weight is 1219 g with standard propellers, with a maximum payload of 200 g and a maximum operating altitude of 6000 m.
What "Plus" means
The Plus Combo version includes DJI service coverage with unlimited free repairs within the stated coverage limit: a sensible choice for those who use the drone in daily operations and cannot afford downtime. Is the battery waterproof?
No. Contact with water must be avoided. If it rains during flight, return to the takeoff point, land as soon as possible and wait until the aircraft is completely dry, inside and out, before using it again.
Which remote controllers are compatible?
The Matrice 4 series supports the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise, included as the standard remote controller, and the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise Enhanced Edition, which must be purchased separately.
Are DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise accessories compatible?
No, accessories for the DJI Matrice 4 series and those for the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise series are not interchangeable.
