Description
One more transmitter, many more configurations
The Transmitter for DJI Mic 3 is the TX unit of the DJI Mic 3 system sold individually. It can be added to a kit you already own to record two or more voices, or it works on its own by connecting directly to OsmoAudio ecosystem devices, with no need for the receiver.
OsmoAudio compatibility without a receiver
The direct connection ensures 48 kHz and 24-bit audio with the following devices: Osmo Pocket 3, Osmo Pocket 4, Osmo Pocket 4P, Osmo Action 4, Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 6, Osmo 360, Osmo 360 II, Osmo Nano, Osmo Mobile 7, Osmo Mobile 7P, Osmo Mobile 8 and Osmo Mobile 8P. Connecting to Osmo Mobile series products requires the first-generation multifunction module for DJI OM. The transmitter is not compatible with DJI Mic, DJI Mic 2 and DJI Mic Mini.
Up to 4 TX and 8 RX
- A DJI Mic 3 system supports up to four transmitters and eight receivers simultaneously, with four-channel output on compatible cameras and software.
- Each transmitter can connect to up to eight Mic 3 receivers; each receiver to up to four transmitters.
- A direct Bluetooth connection to a smartphone is possible, but a phone can only pair with one transmitter at a time.
Audio quality and post-production
- Adaptive gain control: automatic mode against clipping in dynamic scenes, dynamic mode for consistent volume in controlled environments.
- Three preset voice tones: normal, Rich (more present low tones) and bright for streaming and teaching.
- Two-level noise cancellation, low for quiet indoor settings and high for noisy environments.
- Internal dual-file 32-bit float recording: the original track and the version processed by the algorithm, with 32 GB of built-in storage.
- Built-in timecode embedded in the files, with a drift of less than one frame in 24 hours, for quickly syncing multi-camera setups.
Stable transmission and battery life
Automatic switching between the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands keeps the connection stable up to 400 m in open areas without interference, with audio transmission without loss of quality. The transmitter offers up to 8 hours of battery life and charges via the included dedicated magnetic cable. The body integrates a magnet for magnetic or clip mounting, and is lightened to about 16 g with the magnet.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use the transmitter without the receiver?
Yes. The transmitter connects directly to devices in the OsmoAudio ecosystem (for example Osmo Pocket 3, Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo 360, Osmo Nano) with 48 kHz/24-bit audio, without needing the receiver. For Osmo Mobile series products, the first-generation Multifunction Module for DJI OM is required.
Is it compatible with DJI Mic 2 or DJI Mic Mini?
No. The DJI Mic 3 transmitter works only within the DJI Mic 3 system and with compatible OsmoAudio devices: it is not compatible with DJI Mic, DJI Mic 2 and DJI Mic Mini.
How many transmitters can I use together?
The DJI Mic 3 system supports up to four transmitters and eight receivers at the same time, with recording of up to four separate tracks on compatible cameras and software.
Does it also record internally?
Yes. It has 32 GB of internal memory and records dual files in 32-bit float, saving both the original track and the version processed by the algorithm. Files include timecode.
Is the charging case included in the box?
No. The charging case is not included in this version and must be purchased separately; the transmitter charges with the supplied magnetic cable.
