Description
A complete multi-sensor in a compact drone
DJI Matrice 4T integrates into a single gimbal a 1/1.3" CMOS 48 MP wide-angle camera, a 1/1.3" CMOS 48 MP medium telephoto, a 1/1.5" CMOS 48 MP telephoto, an infrared thermal camera, an NIR auxiliary light and a laser rangefinder. It is the configuration designed for those who need to observe, measure and document in the same mission.
Night and low-light operations
The Matrice 4 series features larger apertures, a new Night Scene mode and omnidirectional Fisheye low-light sensing. The 4T model adds NIR illumination hardware and infrared super-resolution support, particularly useful in search and rescue operations.
Sharp details even at a distance
- The medium telephoto lens can identify screws at 10 meters and read instrument data in substations.
- The telephoto lens clearly shows sign details up to 250 meters away.
Onboard artificial intelligence
The integrated AI recognizes vehicles, boats and objects during search and rescue or routine flights. The Cruise, FlyTo, Smart Track and POI functions are available to automate recurring operations.
Mapping and surveying
The drone supports 5-direction oblique capture, 3-direction orthogonal capture and Smart 3D. At present the feature is not sufficient to cover all urban-area mapping needs: DJI plans further flight route optimizations in future updates.
Flight safety and transmission
The navigation and positioning system combines GNSS and visual references. The O4 Enterprise image transmission exceeds 20 km and is compatible with DJI Cellular Dongle 2 for redundant cellular network connection.
Accessory ecosystem
A stabilized spotlight, real-time voice speaker, D-RTK 3 multifunctional station and the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise remote controller in the Enhanced version are available separately. Installing accessories may affect obstacle avoidance performance: always follow the operating instructions.

What is the difference between the DJI Matrice 4T and the Matrice 4E?
The Matrice 4T features a 1/1.3" 48 MP CMOS wide-angle camera, a 1/1.3" 48 MP CMOS medium telephoto, a 1/1.5" 48 MP CMOS telephoto, a thermal camera, an NIR auxiliary light and a laser Rangefinder module: it is the version with thermal imaging and strong night shooting capabilities. The Matrice 4E, on the other hand, has a 4/3" 20 MP CMOS wide-angle camera, the same medium telephoto and telephoto, and a laser Rangefinder module, without a thermal camera.
Is the battery waterproof?
No. Contact with water must be avoided. If it starts to rain during flight, you must return to the takeoff point, land as soon as possible and wait until the drone is completely dry, inside and out, before using it again.
How do I activate the drone?
On first use, connect the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise to the Internet via Wi-Fi or your smartphone's hotspot and follow the instructions on the remote controller. Once the remote controller is activated, use the DJI Pilot 2 app to link the aircraft and complete the activation.
Are Mavic 3 Enterprise accessories compatible with the Matrice 4 series?
No, accessories for the two series are not interchangeable.
What does the Plus Combo version add?
The Plus Combo includes service coverage with unlimited free repairs within the limits set by the coverage itself, useful for those who operate on a continuous basis.
