Description

The refurbished eBee X is a fixed-wing drone for large-scale mapping, offered as an overhauled unit. It is designed for surveyors, survey professionals and companies that need to cover large areas with centimetre-level accuracy.

What it can do

  • up to 90 minutes of endurance and up to 500 hectares in a single mission at an altitude of 120 m;
  • integrated RTK/PPK (centimetre-level satellite positioning, in real time or in post-processing), with accuracy up to 1.5 cm;
  • reduces or eliminates the need for GCPs (ground control points);
  • take-off weight of 1.6 kg and a fuselage made of shock-absorbing material.

Camera

The S.O.D.A. 3D camera rotates automatically during flight and takes three images for each position, two oblique and one nadir: coverage is wider and the quality of 3D models and orthomosaics improves.

Regulations

The manufacturer states Remote ID and C2 and C6 class markings (European drone classes) for the eBee X, with the possibility of BVLOS (beyond visual line of sight) operations in the scenarios provided. Do I need ground control points with the eBee X?

Thanks to the integrated RTK/PPK, with a stated accuracy of up to 1.5 cm, the need for GCPs is greatly reduced; for jobs requiring certified accuracy, it is still good practice to plan for checkpoints.

How much area does it cover in one flight?

Up to 500 hectares in a single mission at an altitude of 120 m, with a flight time of up to 90 minutes.

What certificate is needed to fly it?

The manufacturer states C2 and C6 markings: the flight category depends on the marking of the individual unit and on the operational scenario. Contact us to check it and for the required courses.

What is included with the refurbished eBee X?

Legal guarantee

As a consumer you are entitled by law to the legal guarantee of conformity for at least 2 years from delivery, for any defect present at the time of delivery (Italian Consumer Code, arts. 128 et seq.).
