Description

The obstacle sensing module for DJI Matrice 4 combines a rotating LiDAR (a laser sensor that measures distances) and a millimeter-wave radar. It is meant for those who fly Matrice 4 series drones in low-light conditions as well, where visual sensors alone have more limitations.

What it can do

  • improves the drone's positioning when light is low;
  • pairs the rotating LiDAR with the millimeter-wave radar, which work on different principles and complement each other.

Who it is for

Rescue and security teams operating at dusk or at night, and operators inspecting structures in poorly lit environments.
