Description

The DJI Neo 2 is DJI's mini drone designed to simplify every stage of flight: ideal for beginners and for anyone looking for an agile tool to carry at all times. This is the base version with one battery, without a remote controller.

Flight and safety

Takeoff and landing from the palm make it instantly easy to use. Tracking follows moving subjects at up to 12 m/s. Omnidirectional vision, the front LiDAR (a laser sensor that measures distances) and downward infrared sensing help avoid obstacles, while improved hovering keeps it stable indoors, near buildings and over water or snow.

Camera and storage

The 12 MP 1/2-inch CMOS sensor records 4K video. The 49 GB of internal storage lets you record for a long time without a card, and SelfieShot mode helps you shoot hands-free, moving from close-up to wide shot.

Weight and regulations

At 151 g, the DJI Neo 2 is under 250 g and flies in the Open A1 category with no mandatory certificate; operator registration on d-flight and third-party liability insurance remain mandatory.

Do I need a licence for the DJI Neo 2?

At 151 g, well under 250 g, the DJI Neo 2 flies in the Open A1 category with no mandatory certificate. However, you need to register as an operator on the d-flight portal, which is mandatory for drones with a camera, and have third-party liability insurance, which is mandatory in Italy.

What is the difference between the DJI Neo 2 and the Fly More Combo?

The base version comes with one battery and no remote controller. The Fly More Combo adds the DJI RC-N3 remote controller with digital transceiver, three batteries and the two-way charging hub.

Does the DJI Neo 2 avoid obstacles?

Yes, it uses omnidirectional vision, front LiDAR and downward infrared sensors to help you avoid obstacles. Attention and flight planning are still required.

Do you repair the DJI Neo 2?

Yes, you can open a request on the AerialClick support portal: we assess the fault and carry out the repair in our lab in Brindisi.

As a consumer you are entitled by law to the legal guarantee of conformity for at least 2 years from delivery, for any defect present at the time of delivery (Italian Consumer Code, arts. 128 et seq.).
