Description

Pix4Dfields Educational annual – Professor is the one-year teaching license of Pix4Dfields, designed for the instructor who plans and delivers the course. Pix4Dfields is Pix4D's photogrammetry software (the technique that derives maps and measurements from overlapping photographs) dedicated to agricultural mapping, and this version allows schools and universities to teach it with real data.

What you learn with Pix4Dfields

Pix4Dfields processes RGB or multispectral images captured by the drone and generates the orthomosaic (a single image of the area, geometrically corrected and measurable like a map), index maps such as NDVI (a vegetation index that highlights plant vigor and stress), zones and prescription maps. These are the same tools used in precision agriculture, useful for practical exercises and theses.

  • Student: monthly or six-month license for the individual student.
  • Professor: annual or 3-year license for the instructor.

What is the difference between the Educational Student, Professor and Classroom licenses?

The Student license is for the individual student and lasts one month or six months. The Professor license is for the instructor who prepares and delivers the course, the Classroom license for classroom use with students; both are available as annual or 3-year licenses.

What is the difference from the professional Pix4Dfields license?

The Educational version is designed for teaching and research in schools and universities. For fieldwork with clients there are the monthly, annual and 3-year Pix4Dfields licenses.
