Description
Pix4Dmatic Standard – annual licence is the 12-month subscription to the Standard plan of Pix4Dmatic, Pix4D's professional software for 3D mapping from drone photogrammetry and laser scanners. It is the right option if you work steadily throughout the year and want the software always available.
Who it is for
- surveyors and engineers who manage photogrammetric and laser scanner surveys
- firms and companies that process large amounts of images and want to verify accuracy
- those who combine in the same project data from drones, from mobile devices with PIX4Dcatch and LiDAR (the laser sensor that measures distances and returns 3D geometry)
What it can do
Processing
Manage and process large amounts of data while keeping the accuracy achieved in the field. The typical result is the point cloud (millions of points with 3D coordinates describing the scene) and the orthomosaic (a single image of the area, geometrically corrected and measurable like a map).
Accuracy verification
You check the project's accuracy with GCPs (ground control points with known coordinates), checkpoints or manual tie points. The accuracy metrics are collected in a dedicated table and in an exportable report with the project's quality indicators.
Import
Import and process LiDAR data and RGB images captured with PIX4Dcatch.
Sharing
Share site information via the cloud with your team and project collaborators for faster data exchange.
What the Standard plan includes
The Standard plan is designed for geospatial mapping and documentation.
It includes:
- processing of drone, mobile device and LiDAR data in a single project
- georeferencing and calibration
- point cloud generation
- mesh, i.e. the 3D model made of continuous surfaces
- DSM (digital surface model, which includes buildings and vegetation)
- orthomosaic and orthoplanes
Standard, Analyst or Pro?
Standard covers mapping: point cloud, mesh, DSM and orthomosaic. Analyst is aimed at those who need to produce deliverables for CAD, such as DTM (digital terrain model of the ground only), TIN (terrain surface described with triangles) and contour lines. Pro combines the features of both with complete geospatial and CAD workflows. You can find all the licences in the Pix4Dmatic category.
Why buy it from AerialClick
We are pilots and technicians who use drones for surveys and mapping in Brindisi: we can help you choose the software, plan and duration that suit your work and the drone you already use. If you want to learn to fly or to plan a survey, check out the AerialClick piloting courses, and for your drone there is our service workshop in Brindisi. For any questions, contact us.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the monthly, annual and 3-year Pix4Dmatic licences?
The plan features are the same: only the duration changes. The monthly licence suits a single project or a work peak, while the annual and three-year ones are for those who use the software continuously.
What is the difference between the Standard, Analyst and Pro plans?
Standard is for mapping (point cloud, mesh, DSM, orthomosaic). Analyst is designed for CAD-ready data, such as DTM, TIN and contour lines. Pro includes the features of Standard and Analyst with complete geospatial and CAD workflows.
Does Pix4Dmatic also process LiDAR data?
Yes, you can process drone, mobile device and LiDAR data in the same project, including data captured with PIX4Dcatch.
How do I check the accuracy of the survey?
You can use GCPs, checkpoints or manual tie points: the accuracy metrics are in a dedicated table and in an exportable report.
