Description

The DJI Zenmuse P1 is an aerial photogrammetry camera with a full-frame sensor, interchangeable lenses and a 3-axis stabilised gimbal. It is designed for surveyors, engineering firms, construction companies and public bodies that need to produce precise orthophotos and 3D models.

What it can do

In addition to classic nadir flight lines, it captures oblique images from multiple angles, useful for reconstructing facades, volumes and reality 3D models.

  • topographic mapping: data meeting the requirements of 1:500 scale even without GCPs (ground control points), according to the manufacturer's data;
  • cadastral surveys and reality 3D models;

Are ground control points required?

According to the manufacturer, the P1 can reach 1:500 scale accuracy without GCPs; for survey work, however, it is still good practice to include check points.
