Description
Immersive FPV flight and 360° footage in a single drone
DJI Avata 360 combines the first-person flight experience typical of the Avata series with spherical capture. Two square CMOS sensors with an optimized pixel layout (1-inch equivalent, 2.4 μm pixels, f/1.9 aperture) let you record native 360° video in 8K (4K+4K) up to 60fps in HDR, with a wide dynamic range that helps both in high-contrast scenes and in low light.
One shot, many framings
Since it captures everything around the drone, there is no need to frame the shot during flight: reframing is done in post-production, choosing your preferred perspective and extracting multiple clips from a single pass. The 8K resolution leaves room for sharp crops, while virtual pan and tilt control lets you rotate the horizon, flip the image or create effects such as the Dolly Zoom.
Dual shooting mode
- 360° mode: 8K (2:1) 7680×3840 and 6K (2:1) 6000×3000 up to 60fps, with 360° virtual stabilization, FocusTrack and omnidirectional obstacle sensing.
- Single-lens mode: classic Avata-style shooting up to 4K/60fps (also 2.7K up to 120fps), with forward obstacle sensing.
Safety and transmission
The integrated propeller guard protects the propellers when flying close to objects and in tight spaces, while omnidirectional obstacle sensing remains active even at night during tracking shots. DJI O4+ transmission delivers a 1080p/60fps feed with good resistance to interference; the maximum stated range is 20 km (FCC) and 10 km in CE regions, hence in Italy.
What the Motion Fly More combo adds
This configuration is designed for immersive flight: it includes the DJI Goggles N3 headset and the DJI RC Motion 3 motion controller, with which the view naturally follows your head movements and you fly with one hand. With the headset and motion controller you get features such as Head Tracking and simplified acrobatic maneuvers. Included are three Intelligent Flight Batteries, the charging hub, the shoulder bag, a foldable landing pad, spare propellers and maintenance accessories: everything you need for extended flight sessions.
The Spotlight Free feature locks onto a moving subject and assists camera movements, so you get clips ready to share without having to frame manually. If you prefer control with an on-screen remote controller and precise framing, Avata 360 is also compatible with DJI RC 2 (not included in this combo).

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the Motion Fly More combo and the Fly More with DJI RC 2?
The Motion Fly More combo includes the DJI Goggles N3 headset and the DJI RC Motion 3 motion controller for immersive FPV flight, but not the DJI RC 2 remote controller. The Fly More version with RC 2 instead includes the remote controller with screen, designed for more precise framing, without the headset and motion controller. Both include three batteries and the Fly More accessories.
Does omnidirectional obstacle sensing always work?
No. For the sides and rear, the drone uses the fisheye cameras, so omnidirectional sensing is only available in 360° mode. In Single Lens mode, only forward sensing is supported. In addition, the system works best on surfaces with recognizable textures and with lighting of at least 1 lux.
Which features change depending on the control method?
With the headset and motion controller, features such as Head Tracking and acrobatic maneuvers are available; with a standard remote controller, features such as QuickShot and ActiveTrack 360° in FocusTrack are available. 8K/60fps HDR recording, the 360° virtual gimbal and FocusTrack, on the other hand, are tied to 360° mode.
How much does it weigh and what license is required in Italy?
The drone weighs approx. 455 g, so it exceeds the 250 g threshold: in Italy, registration as an operator on D-Flight and the training required by EASA regulations for the Open category are mandatory. We recommend checking the class C marking on the product label before flying: we can assist you directly at our centre in Brindisi.
In what format are videos recorded?
360° videos use the OSV format, while 2D videos in Single Lens mode are recorded in MP4 (HEVC). The drone has 42 GB of internal storage and a microSD slot.
