Description
A 1-inch sensor in a pocket-sized drone
DJI Mini 5 Pro features a 50 MP 1-inch CMOS sensor with f/1.8 aperture: high detail even in low-light conditions and professional-grade images in a foldable body that fits in a backpack. Video goes up to 4K HDR at 60 fps, with 4K/120 fps slow motion and 10-bit recording.
What the Fly More Combo Plus version adds
This combo includes the DJI RC 2 remote controller with built-in display, which lets you fly without connecting your smartphone, and three Intelligent Flight Plus Batteries offering 52 minutes of flight time each (versus 36 minutes for the standard battery). The package is completed by the two-way charging hub, the ND8/32/128 filter set, three pairs of spare propellers, the storage cover, the shoulder bag and the USB-C cable.
Flight safety even in the dark
- Forward LiDAR and multiple vision sensors for omnidirectional obstacle sensing, which can also be used at night
- Next-generation Smart RTH: with sufficient light, the drone memorizes its flight path and can return safely even without a satellite signal

New framing possibilities thanks to the gimbal
The 3-axis gimbal offers 225° roll rotation: true vertical shooting for social media and dynamic shots that can be controlled manually or through the QuickShot Rotate, Timelapse, Spotlight and Waypoint smart modes.
Transmission and file transfer
The DJI O4+ video transmission reaches up to 20 km (FCC value; in Europe the CE regulatory limit is lower) with a 10-bit stream and greater resistance to interference. On board there are 42 GB of internal storage and QuickTransfer while powered off: the drone wakes up remotely through the DJI Fly app within Bluetooth range, with transfers of up to 100 MB/s.
Important note for Europe: with the Intelligent Flight Plus Battery the takeoff weight exceeds 250 g, so the aircraft no longer falls within the C0 class weight limits. What is the difference between the Fly More Combo Plus and the Fly More Combo with DJI RC 2?
The accessories are the same; the batteries are different. The Combo Plus includes three Intelligent Flight Plus Batteries offering 52 minutes each, while the Fly More Combo includes three standard batteries offering 36 minutes. With the Plus battery, the takeoff weight exceeds 250 g.
Will I stay under 250 grams with this combo?
No. DJI states that with the Intelligent Flight Plus Battery the takeoff weight exceeds 250 g, and therefore the aircraft no longer falls within the C0 class weight limits. Before flying in the EU, check the product's declared class and the applicable operating scenario.
Do I need a smartphone to fly?
No. The combo includes the DJI RC 2, a remote controller with built-in display: you can fly without connecting your phone. The DJI Fly app remains useful for transferring files via QuickTransfer.
Does obstacle sensing really work at night?
Yes, thanks to the front LiDAR and multiple vision sensors, omnidirectional sensing also works at night, but it requires surfaces with defined textures and lighting above 1 lux. Storing the flight path, on the other hand, requires at least 10 lux.
Can I record without a microSD card?
Yes, the drone has 42 GB of internal storage. For long 4K sessions, we still recommend a high-speed microSD card.
