Description
Topografo v.2020 by GEC Software is professional software for those working in surveying and cadastre who want to bring drone surveys into their work, from flight planning to sections, profiles and volumes, in a single program.
What it can do
Topografo by GEC Software is professional software for managing drone surveys, 3D models, Pregeo procedures (the Italian Revenue Agency procedure for cadastral update filings), boundary re-establishment, orthophotos (geometrically corrected aerial images, on which you measure as on a map) and point clouds (sets of millions of points with three-dimensional coordinates that describe the terrain and the surveyed objects).
The drone workflow is divided into three phases.
Plan the flight
With a dedicated module you prepare the mission in the office: choose altitude, photo overlap and route, importing the map from Google.
Create the point cloud
The photos taken by the drone are processed with Agisoft Metashape Standard edition, the photogrammetry software (the technique that reconstructs measurements and 3D shapes from overlapping photographs) that generates the point cloud.
Sections, profiles, volumes and orthophotos
From the point cloud, Topografo derives sections, profiles, volumes, orthophotos and the DTM (digital terrain model, which describes ground elevation without buildings and vegetation). You can overlay the project on Google Earth and integrate Cadastre maps.

Do I need other software to process the drone photos?
To generate the point cloud from the photos, the Topografo workflow relies on Agisoft Metashape in the Standard version. If you are not sure what you need, contact us before purchasing.

Yes, Topografo handles Pregeo procedures, lets you integrate Cadastre maps and overlay your project on Google Earth.
Can I add features later?
Yes, dedicated add-on modules are available, for example for boundary re-establishment, point clouds, profiles and cross-sections or cadastral surveying. We will help you choose the ones useful for your work.
Legal guarantee
