Why we love telescopic poles (and you should too)
Fibreglass poles for shots from unusual angles and for aerial photos were our first flagship product and we have never given them up, for several reasons.

To take striking shots that stand out from other photos of subjects similar to the one you need to portray, it is often essential to have ideas and visions that range 'beyond' the beaten track.
There are sets and contexts in which a different idea is essential and a view from above makes the difference in the narrative of the image and the situation, for several reasons:
a. because the verticality of the shot conveys a sense of vertigo and/or movement;
b. because a photo taken from an 'elevated' point of view is to the image what the omniscient narrator is to the novel (it accompanies the reader throughout the narrative and makes them feel at ease);
c. because an overall view of the scene has a dynamic that always feels fresh when seen from above.
There are contexts and types of photo sets in which the aerial or semi-aerial perspective provided by a telescopic pole can truly make the difference in the expressiveness of the photo.
Let's discover them together.
Many garden designers rely on photographers who are able to promote special works and ambitious projects; the garden designer is responsible for the design and management of ornamental greenery, once only and mainly in the private sphere, today increasingly also in public areas where high-quality urban greenery has become a need that is not only urban-planning and aesthetic but also environmental and social.
A garden designer needs to portray all of their completed work from the best angles, situations in which a mobile phone or non-specific equipment is not enough.
On your set it is therefore necessary to provide, along with optimal lighting and the right additional staging, a light and manageable telescopic pole that can help capture the space from different angles and with different light refractions (especially natural light).

with aerial visual storytelling
As already mentioned in a previous article, interior design and real estate are among the most 'portrayed' subjects in aerial photography for promotional purposes.
An aerial photo from a height of 3-4 metres helps with panoramic and overall shots (which are essential for interiors regardless of the reason for photographing the inside of a property, whether it is for sale, for a catalogue, etc.); this overall view should not be achieved with a wide-angle shot because it distorts angles and spatial relationships (a mistake very often made by estate agencies that publish rudimentary images online taken without specific equipment).
Take a look: browse online image-selling sites and you will notice that a good part of the most beautiful images of dynamic groups of people are taken from a... particular angle.
Semi-aerial shots are now increasingly common even in group portraits, thanks to their ability to provide greater verticality and a sense of 'external observation' of a group; this type of image 'narrates' what is happening to the people portrayed and is therefore particularly well suited to blogs, online articles and any text meant to spread virally online (images taken from above have 17% more viral reach).
A telescopic pole is therefore an excellent ally for different types of shots and lends itself very well to creative play; particularly creative photographers can really let their imagination run wild with this tool that is so inexpensive and easy to use!
